20+ Authentic Tahajjud Duas: Night Prayer Supplications

A man reciting Tahajjud dua in a dimly lit room facing a night sky window

Every day, establishing a consistent Tahajjud dua routine brings immense spiritual peace and closeness to Allah. I wake up during the night, turn to Allah, offer my prayer, and spend some quiet moments making dhikr and dua.

While preparing this collection of authentic tahajjud duas and adhkar, I gathered supplications that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite during the night—whether making doa tahajjud in sujood or during quiet moments of night prayer.

These beautiful supplications teach us how to remember Allah, seek His forgiveness, ask for His mercy, protection, guidance, and help. To make learning easier, every dua for tahajjud in english includes the original Arabic text, transliteration, and full translation below.

Following the authentic duas taught and practiced by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ can help us keep our worship connected to the Sunnah and seek the blessings, mercy, and forgiveness of Allah.
