In this post, I want to share with you the incredible story of Prophet Musa (AS), a journey filled with faith, courage, and divine miracles. His life unfolded in the land of Egypt, during a painful chapter for the family of Bani Isra’il.
At that time, Egypt was ruled by Pharaoh—a tyrant driven by pride, who went so far as to declare himself the supreme power. Out of fear that the children of Bani Isra’il would grow strong and threaten his reign, Pharaoh issued a horrific command to his soldiers: every newborn boy from Bani Isra’il was to be killed.
Musa’s mother became very worried.Allah knew her fear and sadness. He gave her a special command.Allah told her to nurse Musa. If she became afraid for him, she should place him in a chest and put the chest into the river. Allah promised to protect him and return him to her.

Musa’s mother trusted Allah. She carefully placed baby Musa in a small chest. Then she placed the chest on the river. The water carried the chest gently along.
Musa’s sister watched from a distance. She wanted to know where the chest would go.The chest reached the home of Pharaoh.Pharaoh’s wife saw the baby.
She felt love for him and said, “Do not kill him. Perhaps he will be useful to us, or we may take him as a son.”Allah protected Musa from the soldiers. But baby Musa would not drink milk from any other woman.
His sister quietly told them that she knew a family who could care for him.In this way, Musa’s own mother was brought to him.She became his nursing mother again.
Her heart became peaceful. She knew that Allah had kept His promise.Musa grew up safely. When Musa became a young man, Allah gave him wisdom and knowledge.
One day, Musa saw two men fighting. One man was from Bani Isra’il, and the other was from Pharaoh’s people. The man from Bani Isra’il asked Musa for help.Musa tried to stop the other man, but the man died.
Musa became very sad.He turned to Allah and said, “My Lord, indeed, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.”Allah forgave him.
Musa left Egypt for a time and traveled to another land.
There, he helped two women who were waiting near a well. Their father was an old man, and they needed help to give water to their sheep.
Musa helped them.He did not ask for anything in return.Later, Musa married and lived there for many years.
Then one day, while traveling with his family, Musa saw a fire near Mount Tur.He said to his family, “Stay here. I see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you some news or a burning piece of wood.”

When Musa came near the fire, Allah called him.Allah chose Musa as a prophet.Allah said that He was Allah, the One who must be worshipped.
Allah gave Musa a great mission. He told Musa to go to Pharaoh and call him to worship Allah.Musa felt worried.
He asked Allah to make his heart strong, make his task easy, and help him speak clearly. He also asked Allah to make his brother Harun (AS) his helper.Allah accepted his prayer.
Musa and Harun went to Pharaoh. They spoke to him kindly. They said that they were messengers from Allah and asked Pharaoh to let Bani Isra’il go.
But Pharaoh was proud. He refused to listen. He asked, “Who is your Lord, O Musa?”Musa answered that his Lord is the One who created everything.
Allah gave Musa clear miracles.Musa threw down his staff, and by Allah’s permission, it became a great snake. Then Musa put his hand under his arm, and when he took it out, it shone brightly.
Pharaoh still refused to believe. He called his magicians together. The magicians came and showed their tricks. They threw their ropes and sticks, and people thought they were moving like snakes.
Then Allah told Musa to throw his staff.Musa threw it.By Allah’s permission, it swallowed what the magicians had made. The magicians immediately understood that this was not magic.
They believed in the Lord of Musa and Harun.Pharaoh became angry. He threatened them, but they stayed firm in their faith.Musa continued to call Pharaoh to Allah.
But Pharaoh refused again and again.
Finally, Allah commanded Musa to leave Egypt with Bani Isra’il.Musa and his people traveled away from Egypt.Soon they reached the sea.Behind them came Pharaoh and his army.
The people became frightened. They said, “We are surely going to be caught!”Musa remained calm.He said, “No! My Lord is with me. He will guide me.”
Allah commanded Musa to strike the sea with his staff.Musa did so.By Allah’s command, the sea opened.A dry path appeared between the water.Musa and Bani Isra’il walked safely across. They were amazed at Allah’s power.
Pharaoh and his army followed them. But when they entered the sea, the water came back together.Pharaoh and his army were drowned.Allah saved Musa and the believers.
Musa continued to guide his people. He taught them to worship Allah alone and to obey Him.Musa (AS) was a brave prophet. He faced a powerful king, but he trusted Allah.
He was patient when things were difficult. He asked Allah for help when he felt worried.
His story teaches us that Allah protects His servants and that no difficulty is too great when we trust Him.
