Food and drink are among the greatest daily blessings from Allah. In this guide, I have collected the authentic adhkar and duas of food and drink taught by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to help you incorporate the Sunnah into your daily meals.

I want to make it easy for myself and other Muslims to remember Allah before eating, while eating, after finishing a meal, when drinking, when visiting someone as a guest, and when receiving food or milk.

By following the Sunnah in these simple daily moments, we can keep our tongues connected with the remembrance of Allah and ask Him for His blessing, mercy, and forgiveness.

Below are the authentic and sound supplications and related Sunnah words for food and drink, with Arabic, English meaning, and easy pronunciation.

I gathered these duas and Sunnah words so I can remember Allah during ordinary moments of eating and drinking. Food and drink are daily blessings, and the Sunnah teaches us to connect these moments with gratitude, remembrance, and good manners.

I hope this collection makes it easier for me and other Muslims to follow the example of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in our everyday meals and drinks, while staying careful to use supplications that have a reliable basis in the Sunnah.
