Prophet Ayyub (AS) was a kind and patient servant of Allah. He loved Allah very much and was always thankful for His blessings.
Allah had given Ayyub (AS) a loving family, good health, and many blessings. He helped poor people and cared for those in need. He never forgot to thank Allah.
Then, Allah tested Prophet Ayyub (AS) with great hardship. He lost many of his blessings. He became very sick and weak. His suffering continued for a long time.
But Prophet Ayyub (AS) did not become angry with Allah.
He did not complain to people. Instead, he turned to Allah and made dua.
He said:
“Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.”
Prophet Ayyub (AS) trusted Allah even when life was very difficult. He knew that Allah knew his pain and could help him.
After a long time, Allah answered his dua.
Allah told Ayyub (AS) to strike the ground with his foot. A spring of water appeared. Allah told him to wash with it and drink from it.

By Allah’s mercy, Prophet Ayyub (AS) became healthy again.
Allah also returned his family and blessings to him. Ayyub (AS) was thankful and remained a faithful servant of Allah.
His story teaches us that difficult times do not last forever. We should never lose hope in Allah.
When we are sad, sick, or facing a problem, we can make dua and trust Allah.
